A quarter million Rohingya refugees who fled the Myanmar military persecution are now sheltered in 19 camps, mostly in Cox’s Bazar, a southern district of Bangladesh bordering Myanmar. Of the 3 million people in Myanmar’s Arakan province, approximatel 2 million are Rohinga muslims who continue to face persecution under the rule of General Ne Win.
